| This wonderful and bold pair of gardian like shi shi are done in traditional Fukagawa blue with gold accent. This pair is extremely rare according to the manager of China on the Park's Fukagawa factory. He was amazed to see them at my house when he came to visit and told me how rare they are. A small amount of the gold is deminished on the eyes. You can judge Fukagawa porcelain by classifying their shine. The more shine, the higher the class. There are several classes of Fukagawa porcelain and these are the top of the line which is called 1st class. | ||
