This unusual Chinese export enamel and silver filigree Foo dog is 5 ¾” high (with base is 7” high), 4” wide and 2” thick. The Foo dog sits on a globe with its mouth open. Three small coral and turquoise pieces are missing from his head. Most of lacquer finish on the wood base has worn off. Otherwise, it is in fairly good condition.

This massive white jade (nephrite) carving of a brush washer is 6 ½” long, 4” wide and 1 ¾” thick. It is a late 19th century or early 20th century product. It depicts a large Buddha hand citron surround by some smaller citron, peach and pomegranate; one little monkey rests on the side. Aside from some natural blemishes on the bottom, it is in excellent condition.

The small jade carving is 2” long, 1 ¼” wide and 1” thick. It is a late 19th century product. It depicts a smiling fisherman. On one hand, he is holding his long beard; in the other he is holding a string of Ling Zhi (lucky mushrooms). A turtle and a fish appear on the fisherman’s back carved from dark brown part of the stone. It is in excellent condition.

This early 20th century Chinese jade (nephrite) carving of three goats is 3” high, 4 ¼” long and 1 ¾” in depth. It depicts three long horned goats climbing on a mountain surrounded by pine trees. This is a very popular image called “San Yang Kai Tai”. The I-Ching (Book of Changes) goes to great lengths to describe “Yin” and “Yang”. “Yin” is represented by the moon (female or negative); it is the opposite of “Yang” (male or positive) which is represented by the sun. This very nicely carved 19th century lacquered wood netsuke in a clam form is 1 1/8” high, 1 ¾” from the widest part and 1 ½” in depth. It depicts two elders playing “go” in a building and the third person standing on a bridge outside the house. A tall pine tree is along side of the building. There are two hermit crabs and some sea weed painted on the top of shell. Aside from a few tiny scratches, it is in great condition.

One man holds an umbrella crossing a bridge while another man is paddling a small boat near by. It is in excellent condition.

This carved ox horn statue of an old man is a late 19th century product. It depicts a bearded old story teller sitting with one leg kneeling. He holds a pair of clap sticks or clappers in his right hand. His left hand rests on his belt. The statue is 4 7/8” high, 2 ¾” wide from bottom and 2 ¼” thick from bottom (without base). It is in great condition.

It depicts a fairy with one hand holding a flower branch while her other hand is holding a bamboo basket with more flowers inside. It is 10 ¼” high (11 ¼” high with base), 3” wide from the bottom and 2 ¼” in depth. Aside from small chips on the bottom rim, it is in great condition.

It depicts a tiger standing on top of mountain surround by far away mountains, pine trees and bamboo. There are peony and small chrysanthemums beneath the tiger and a lucky bat is flying on the top.
