This massive white jade (nephrite) carving of a brush washer is 6 ½” long, 4” wide and 1 ¾” thick. It is a late 19th century or early 20th century product. It depicts a large Buddha hand citron surround by some smaller citron, peach and pomegranate; one little monkey rests on the side. Aside from some natural blemishes on the bottom, it is in excellent condition.

This early 20th century Chinese jade (nephrite) carving of three goats is 3” high, 4 ¼” long and 1 ¾” in depth. It depicts three long horned goats climbing on a mountain surrounded by pine trees. This is a very popular image called “San Yang Kai Tai”. This massive mid or late 19th century white jade (nephrite) carved Ru-Yi scepter is 18 ½” long, 5 ½” wide (from the widest part) and 3” high (from the highest part). The whole scepter was carved from a single piece of nephrite. The carving depicts mythical figures, animals and buildings surrounded by clouds. Aside from some natural flaws in the stone, it is in excellent condition.

This pair of Chinese archer rings with wood stands and caps is a product of late 19th century. They are 1 3/16” high (the darker one is a little shorter), 1 3/8” in diameter and a quarter of an inch thick. They are 2 ½” high with the carved wood stands and caps. The two knobs are made from natural red coral. They are in excellent condition and look great on a scholar’s desk.

This very well carved brush holder is an early 20th century product. On one side, it depicts six children playing with fire crackers during New Year; on the other side there is a big red character “Fu,” good luck. There are mountain and river scenes on the bottom inside and outside. It is almost 5” high, 4” wide and 3 ½” thick. It is in great condition aside from some old cracks.

This late 19th or early 20th C. carved nephrite brush holder is 5” high on one side, 4” high on the opposite side, 4” long and 3” on the widest part. The entire body was carved to resemble the trunk of a pine tree. There is one bird flying and two birds resting on the three branches. Though the nephrite has some natural blemishes, but still is quite an eye catching piece. It is in great condition.
