SOLD, Thanks.

A very fine jomon-zogan (cord impressed design) small bowl (ko-bachi) with overglaze enamel designs was made by the late LNT Shimaoka Tatsuzo (1919-2007). Shimaoka’s use of this design is a major factor to his designation as a Japanese Living National Treasure. It could also be used as a small chawan (tea bowl), but wasn't made as one. It is 3” high and 5 ¼” in diameter. The artist’s signature is on the bottom. It is in excellent condition.
