| Tsukigata originated the name Oni Shino for the dark, powerful style of firing of this fine sake bottle. He studied with Arakawa Toyozo, one of the all time greats of 20th century Japanese ceramics. He was widely published and exhibited during his lifetime. His works are quite rarely seen outside of Japan. It is 5 ½” high and 4” from the widest part. The artist’s signature is on the bottom of the sake vessel and on the top of the original, fitted wood box. It is in excellent condition. | ||
