| The fine white ash glazed tea caddy with cast bronze lid was made by the very popular Japanese potter Ishii Takahiro. He apprenticed with Kakurzaki Ryuichi, one of the most sought after contemporary Bizen artist-potters. Ishii's exhibitions are quite often sellouts due to the quality of his work. It is 4 3/8” high and 3” in diameter. The artist’s signature is on the top of the original wood box. It is in excellent condition. | ||
