| This very nice small iron glazed vase with polychrome over glaze decoration was made by Hamada Tomoo, grandson of Living National Treasure Hamada Shoji, the most famous Japanese potter of the 20th century. Tomoo has worked to revitalize the Mashiko pottery tradition with newer, more original works such as this vase. It is 5 ¾” high and 3 ¾” wide from the bottom. The artist’s signature is inside of the original wood box. It is in excellent condition. | ||
