Contemporary black Bizen sake bottle by Miyao Masahiro
SOLD, Thanks

This very fine tokkuri (sake bottle, or pourer) with an unusual dark firing and a nice bright ash glaze feature on the side was made by Miyao Masahiro, one of the Young Lions, the younger generation of very talented potters working in Bizen style. It is 6 1/4" high and 3 1/2" wide from the widest part. The artist name and seal are on the top of the original wood box; his name is on the bottom of the sake bottle. It is in excellent condition.
