Contemporary small Mashiko tokkuri by Hamada Tomoo
$250.00 SOLD, Thanks

This nicely fired small Mashiko style tokkuri (sake pourer) with red over glazed enamel designs was made by Hamada Tomoo, the grandson of the great Living National Treasure Hamada Shoji, through his father Hamada Shinseki. Tomoo has become a noted potter in his own right. Tomoo has worked to revitalize the Mashiko tradition with newer, more original works, such as this tokkuri. It is 4 1/4" high and 3" wide from the widest part. The artist name and seal are inside of the original wood box. It is in excellent condition.
