| This is a very nicely fired guinomi (sake cup) in a less common shape called Rinka (flower shape). There are many different rich surfaces on this guinomi from the firing. Yuho (b. 1950) is the son of Sozan, an Okayama Prefectural Treasure. He also is the nephew of Kaneshige Toyo, the first Living National Treasure for Bizen pottery. He has received the Japanese Ceramic Society prize for his work. It is 2” high and 2 ½” wide. It comes in a signed box and is in perfect condition. | ||
