| This very well made Shizuno-yu tokkuri (sake flask) was made by Kako Katsumi. Kako (b. 1965) came from a family of commercial potters from Kyoto, but decided at an early age to become an art potter. He is highly thought of by several Japanese ceramic magazines and has won the grand prize at the prestigious Tea Forms Exhibition in Japan. It comes with a signed box. It is 6 1/8” high and 2 ¾”on widest part and is in excellent condition. | ||
