| The yunomi (tea cup) which has Basara (opulent) style of glazing was made by the famous Mashiko potter Matsuzaki Ken (b. 1950). This style of glazing is very rare; the cup also has a fine subtle shape. He studied with Living National Treasure Shimaoka Tatsuzo and has exhibited worldwide. His works are held in museums worldwide as well. The cup is 3” in diameter and 3 ¾” high. It is in excellent condition and comes with a box signed by noted Japanese ceramic expert and dealer Robert Yellin. | ||
