Rare, miniature "Agate" vase with gold-chunk inclusions, 19th Century Venetian-Murano art glass, possibly by Francesco Ferro & Figlio, although we have also known Salviati to have made similar pieces. Swirling ribs of pale amber glass, over "agate" mixture of varying shades of red, blue, yellow, and an interior layer of thin, translucent, slightly opalescent lattimo; applied button foot. 2.50" high x 1.75" diameter at rim. Excellent condition. c. 1880-1890. $10 US Shipping.
