A rare find in this...Luscious snow white, art glass lamp with pink roses, undoubtedly created by the Venetian glasshouse of Barovier or Barbini, most likely between 1900 and 1940. New wiring to US standards. Over quilted white glass which is heavily flecked with real silver, are three large pink roses, all included with real gold dust. Twining around the lamp is a stem of clear glass included with gold, and a total of 4 gold-included glass leaves. The pale green marble base has veins of white and light brown, and it sits on four round brass feet. 15.75" inches to the top of the glass, 26" to the top of the unremarkable brass finial, and 5" diameter at the base. The roses project apx. 1-1/2" out from the lamp, and each is about 2.75" diameter. In perfect condition. $35 US Shipping.
