| Rare and Beautiful Murano-Venetian Blown Glass Casket (table or vanity box) in Matte, Acid-Finish glass, in elegant Vermillion (deep red-orange)glass. Probably Fratelli Toso for Aureliano Toso, as we are aware of another like this one with the label intact. Of very fine quality, it measures apx. 5.25" (13.33 cm) tall by 4.50" (11.43 cm) diameter. There is one 1/4" (.63 cm) flake at the inside rim (not noticeable unless examining--see photo)and other roughness at the inside rim all of which is most likely from time of manufacture. It is interesting to note near the back section, the brass has been discreetly cut away to accommodate the shape of the blown glass in that area. Excellent condition.
