Five Late 19th and Early 20th Century Handmade, Handpainted, Gilded and Enameled in the Florentine manner, Decorative Wooden Italian Trays. The trays vary in size and condition; some are impressed "Made In Italy;" those without that impression are the earlier Italian trays; and some have recently added, contemporary hangers for displaying on the wall. All are decorated with traditional Italian tooling impressions, and all have an underlying layer of gesso. They measure: (top row, center) 19" x 13.5" x 1.25" height at the handle, black/white/gold; (middle row, left) 14" diameter, .625" tall, aqua/red/gold; (middle row, center) 12" diameter, .875" tall, gold/white; (middle row, right) 16.25" x 11.25" x 1.375" tall at handle, grey-white/gold; (front row) 9" x 9" x 1" tall, rusty-apricot/gold/red/green. $20 US Shipping. |
