Salviati Documented Venetian Glass Goblets 19th Century

19th Century Salviati or Toso Art Glass Goblet, documented in Sheldon Barr's book, "Venetian Glass, Confections in Glass 1855-1914;" large, elegant, quilted, gold-included Goblet. The goblet appears in the upper, left-hand corner of the endpapers of Barr's book, and again on page 108. Barr describes them as being by "Salviati, Barovier, or Toso." The colors in the documented goblet are reversed from ours; from green bowl & foot, blue & Amethyst stems, to blue & amethyst bowl & green stems; there is no question that they are the same goblet. You can also see a photo from the book, in our book listing no. 1620. Goblet is 8" (20.32 cm) tall, 3.5" (8.89 cm) diameter rim, 3.75" (9.52 cm) diameter foot. Excellent condition. c. 1877-1914. $18 US Shipping. [two pair available]
