| Antique porcelain dessert sets -- dessert plates, cups and saucers. Lovely transfer prints, likely with handpainted backgrounds; much gilding. Each piece has different scenes with young women and cherubs, most likely reproductions of Angelica Kauffman's paintings. Dessert plates are 7.25" (18.41 cm) diameter, raised platform saucers are 6.25" (15.87 cm) diameter, cups are 3" (7.62 cm) tall, 3.50" (8.89 cm) diameter. Green, underglaze mark, "Victoria Austria," with crown, and an unknown overglaze blue mark of double X's. One cup has a tiny, flaked chip on the underside of the foot; all others in excellent condition. c. 1904-1918. | |||||||||
