Handcarved Wood Furniture Carvings Signed Mid-1800s

Three antique handcarved, wooden, decorative futniture pieces; plus nine modern pieces in various stages of reproduction carving. Size of the two antique left/right pieces are approximately 9.5" x 3.5" x 1.25"; the center antique urn and fruit carving is 6.5" x 5" x 1". The two larger pieces are signed by monogram, intertwined "O.A" or "C.A." or other first initial. All other pieces are unsigned. Woods vary from Mahogany, to Rosewood, to Walnut. All pieces in good condition, with various losses. Included is another five blocks of wood which have the pattern outlined, but no cutting, for a total of 17 pieces. From the estate of a 19th-20th Century, American amateur furniture-maker, Herbert Asp, North Dakota. See our item No. 1821 for small table made by this craftsman. c. 1840-1890. $18 US Shipping.
