INTERESTING GLASS FACTS: Note the intricacy of the lattice pattern in this item, as well as the twisted, ribbon canes which display intensity variations to the color. Both are indications of true antique Venetian glass. Newer latticino will often have the large, open, loosely intertwined lattice, as well as flat ribbon canes. This does not necessarily lessen value of newer glass, but is merely an indication of age and attention to detail. Another interesting and little-known fact, is that there was no Venetian glass production during the years of 1914-1920.
