| Pair of nice, thick and heavy Sterling Silver Napkin Rings, with the impressed "Alvin Sterling" hallmark and the pattern number "571-1". Lovely repousse scrolling leaf pattern around center, flanked by a row of beading on either side. Both edges of the ring are reinforced with thick, outward folds. Originally a New Jersey company, Alvin moved to Sag Harbor, New York early 20th Century, and was purchased by the Gorham Silver Company in 1928. The company produced many exquisite luxury silver items both before and after its purchase by Gorham. Nearly 2" (5.08 cm) diameter, .625" (1.58 cm) wide (just over one-half inch).
