Crystal clear, intricately hand-etched Venetian art glass, Sherbet or Champagne Glasses. Attractive, heavily spray-gilded, applied stem; applied foot; polished button-pontil. One side of the goblet depicts a couple in 18th Century costumes, apparently at a masked ball; on the opposite side, is a large, overflowing fountain. The remainder of the etching is of trees with dense foliage, a grass border, and low plants; a row of small, etched dots encircles the rim". 3.75" (9.52 cm) tall, 2.5" (6.35 cm) diameter foot, 4" (10.16 cm) diameter bowl.
