Striking American Rembrandt Daffodil Lamps Pair 1920s
Rare and unusual pair of Ceramic Lamps by the one-time Chicago based, Rembrandt Lighting Company, known for its fine quality, early in the 20th Century. [Vroeg de Amerikaanse Ceramische lampen Daffodil van 20ste C door Rembrandt.] Deep chartreuse, or yellow-green daffodils bloom from the grass green base of each lamp, as they burst forth from their tall, shaply grey-hued leaves. Both have replacement bases and have been rewired, with extra long cords. The glass "shades" are made to balance a larger, fabric shade (not included), or they can be removed and harps added to the lamps. 34" (86.36 cm) overall height, 18.50" (46.99 cm) to top of daffodils, 7.25" (18.41 cm) base diameter. Excellent condition, with only minor oxidation to the upper metal. c. 1920-1930.
