| Three-piece Modernist desk set, white marble with scattered shades of pale green and tan inclusions. The set is German; the interior clock mechanism and letter opener are both marked, "Germany." Our clock expert says that: "the clock is a good one, but it needs a professional cleaning to work," and is missing 2 exterior screws and the time-setting knob. There is slight oxidation to all of the metal, and one small, 1/4" (.63 cm) long chip on the right, rear corner which can easily be smoothed if desired, although it is not generally noticeable (may be seen in closeup clock photo). The 3-cornered pen tray rests on 3 small metal feet, and is designed to match the rounded, triangular shape of the clock. The pen tray is 11.75" (29.84 cm) long, 6" (15.24 cm) at the widest point, and just over 1.25" (3.17 cm) tall. Clock is 6.25" (15.87 cm) tall, 7.50" (19.05 cm) wide, 2.50" (6.35 cm) deep.
