| Exquisite small bronze-finish, crouching Lion, which display evidence of having once been gilded, and was probably an ormolu item on a large garniture set. He is of white metal with a bronze finish, and the gilding would have covered him completely. He is beautifully and intricately formed, measures 5" (12.70 cm) long, about 2.50" (6.35 cm) wide, and about 2" (5.08 cm) tall. Condition is as described and seen in photos, with most of the remaining gilding near and on the base.
