| Small, exquisite portrait by listed artist, "M. Seaman," (Mary Seaman, listed in "Who was in American Art 1564-1975) 20th Century, of a cherub-like child, in gossamer gown and red velvet cap; mesmerizing brown eyes matching the curls of dark hair. Oil on panel, in original gilded frame; craquelure, one small repair above-left of cap, a few very minor scuffs, and small repairs at the hairline. Upper left corner of frame is missing gesso and it has been gilded over; two or three additional, small, minor gesso losses. Otherwise in fine condition, and charmingly displayable. Image is 4.75" x 6.75" (12.06 x 17.14 cm), framed to 6.75" x 8.75" x 1" (15.24 x 22.22 x 2.54 cm). c. 1910-1920. $14 US Shipping. [easel not included] | ||||||||||
