Exceedingly rare laquered wooden food serving tray from Qing dynasty China, probably 17th century. Octagonal shape and with carved feet, raised carved relief panels, very old remnants of red and black lacquer. Fantastic patina and signs of generations of use. Very difficult to find surviving examples this old.

A high country ca 1835 Sheraton style chest in thick solid cherry and curly maple. Made in Cass County, Indiana in 1835. Signed with provenance. Attributed to James Henry, born circa 1804 in Tennessee, arrived in Miami Township in 1832-33 and settled next to David and Catherine Berry Miller, also amongst the earliest settlers in the county and the original owners of the piece. Absolutely superb and one-of-a-kind quality in this watch hutch or pocket watch safe, finely done in mahogany with bonnet top and canted corners, also whalebone or ivory ball feet in front and turned, ball foot in rear. Features nicely rounded fruitwood molding to the center circle, and simple latch back on reverse door. Superb workmanship on this piece would fit into any fine collection of either George III period furnishings or timepieces. May be American or British...

An American work table made of solid walnut, early to mid 19th century, likely ca. 1840. Features chamfered bottom, dovetailed drawer also of solid walnut and the most interesting legs, which softly curve from a square shape into a curved French or Biedermeier style upturned foot. Originally sold as a Lower Mississippi River Valley piece, it may also be Texas origin. Relates closely to documented Texas Hill Country examples, probably German cabinet made in that region mid 19th century...

Chinese Export Turquoise Blue-Green Glazed Lion-Dog Figure Kangxi Period, 1662 - 1722 Fantastically rendered, this amusing lion or dog standing on small artemesia leaf, all thickly glazed in turquoise, eyes picked out in black and white. A very challenging glaze to control, this one shows evidence of support underneath. Kangxi Period, circa 1662 - 1722. Sweet form in perfect condition. Measures 4 1/2 " h x 4 " w.

Circa 1850s Empire Gilt Bronze-Mounted Mahogany Gentleman's Dressing Mirror, featuring a fantastically aged, arched mirror on rectangular supports, mounted with gilt-bronze candlecups. The base features a one drawer case with canted corners on a plinth base. Height 25 3/4 in., width 22 in., depth 9 3/4 in.

Qing dynasty Chinese paste box, may also be a weiqi bowl based on wear to interior of lid. Featuring a rounded top and bottom of figured wood, possibly jumu or cypress, with a fine oily patina. Early 19th c or earlier.

Absolutely rare and original bench made buckboard wagon low seat with back. Found in the 1970's and probably made in New Orleans ca 1890-1910. Features original green paint on weathered cypress and rusty iron brace supports in fantastic patina. Interesting conversation piece and rare object from old Louisiana. Measures 10 h to the seat, about 15 inches high to top of the back, and about 30 inches wide.
