An early 20thC oil on canvas by Rhode Island artist, Emma Lavinia Swan ( 1853-1927). This is an unusual and rare scene since Swan is noted from her floral paintings. It appears to have its original black wood frame. Signed in the lower right hand corner. The canvas measures 9" x 9"; frame 17" x 17". Listed/Davenports.

A 19th Century oil on canvas faintly signed in the lower right corner. Tait was born in Cincinnati and went abroad in 1853 with his teacher, William Louis Sonntag. In addition to being an artist, Tait was also recognized as a poet and writer. The painting has craquelure and appears to have an egg tempura varnish. The frame measures 18" x 29", the canvas approximately 12" x 24".

An impasto oil on copper painting by California artist,Ray Thomas Platt. Born in Texas in 1897,Platt moved to California during the 30's with his wife, artist Beulah Bradleigh Platt. A winter scene print by noted watercolorist and illustrator, Howard Watson. Watson was the "Artist in Residence" at the White House during the Carter Administration.There are tiny thumbtack punctures at the very end corners of the print(not impacting the print and not visible). Professionally framed, the print measures approximately 23" x 20" (probably larger but not measured out of frame). The frame itself is 28-1/2" x 25".

An oil on canvas housed in a gilt frame. Faintly signed what appears to be NESS in the lower left corner. There is some in painting in the upper area, and also slight loss to the antique gesso gilt frame. The frame measures 21-1/2" x 31-1/2", the canvas approximately 15-1/2" x 25".

An original print by listed artist and Rhode Island native, Karnig Nalbandian (1916- 1989.) The etching measures 10" x 7-1/2"; the frame,13" x 16". Signed in pencil. On the back, there is a copy of his obituary which highlights his career.
