Here is a rare ten volume set that includes (I) four illustrated volumes of "The Arabian Nights Entertainments",(II) two volumes with etchings of "The Life and Opinions of Tristam Shandy Gentleman" by Laurence Sterne, also (III)single volume of "Gullver’s Travels -Travels into Several Remote Nations of the Worlds" with etchings- in four parts by Johnathan Swift"( IV) single volume – “The History of Caliph Vathek" by William Beckford, Esq. / "Rasselas Prince of Arabia" by Samuel Johnson, LL.D ( also with etchings). Also, (V) "The Old English Baron" by Clara Reeves/"The Castle of Otranto" by Horace Walpole- both are Gothic stories with etched drawings, finally, (VI) " A Sentimental Journey through France and Italy" by Laurence Stene/ "A Tale of a Tub" written for the Universal Improvement of Mankind with etchings and portrait by Bedouin and written by Johnathan Swift. All books have olive green leather boards and have the imprint for limited edition but no edition is filled in the blank."Only 150 copies of this edition..." The paper paste down title on the spine is worn on some books, some boards have modest spotting and wear at the corners,one book has a small hole at the board spine and all pages are uncut. A few volumes indicate Ballantyne Press, but all are marked London J.C. Nimmon and Bain 14 King William Street Strand WC Dates indicate either 1882 or 1883. **Please note Roman numerals are only used to differentiate each book.
