Lovely example of early Republic era 1920's Cheong Sam Art Deco patterned blouse. Very similar to examples seen in Valery Garret's comprehensive "Chinese Dress". This one has phenomenal color; a bright mint green trimmed in vivid pink and shimmering with gold geometric patterning and it is in excellent condition. Size small. Sturdy and wearable, or suitable to round out a Chinese textile collection.
Two excellent condition vintage Chinese silk embroidered roundels for use as appliques with couched gold thread and many bats and peonies. Very attractive pair, suitable for makeing lampshades or for your collection. Each one measures 11" in diameter.
