| Beautiful Chinese Silk late Qing dynasty skirt featuring beautiful silk, two elaborate satin stitch panels and intriguing rainbow colored hues. It is reminiscent of a Taoist costume. This two-panel skirt has had the original cotton tops of the two panels replaced with a yellow satin sash so that one may easily wear it as a modern skirt if desired. This also enhances the way it looks when displayed as a wall decoration. It would be easy to restore it to the original two pieces if necessary for historical preservation. The only condition issue of note is some very slight discoloration on the green colored panel. | ||
