| Interesting example of a carved Ivory decorated purse in what appears to be a more Chinoiserie / Japonais style, not a traditional Japanese motif, but most likely carved in Japan for the Western market and included in this leather Edwardian purse which is remarkable mostly because of the beautifully carved ivory plaque embedded within, which is set in hallmarked Sterling silver. Ivory is in excellent condition, and leather purse is in "as-is" fair condition. | ||
