This mask depicts a youth, possibly Mercury or Apollo, although without the presence of attributes this cannot be definitively ascertained. The face is full with a round chin, pursed lips and a short nose. The eyes are large with the pupils delineated and a prominent brow. The hair is thick with stylized curls. Due to the size of the mask and lack of suspension hole it was clearly never intended to be worn.
