An excellent example of its type, this lamp is circular in form with a cone shaped handle and seven wick holes. The central band around the fill hole and upper part of the secondary band contain a Greek inscription. Although the inscription is largely illegible, it most likely is an blessing of the Virgin Mary. The lamp stands on a ring base, inside which are two seven-pointed stars in relief.
