A shallow phiale, or offering vessel, with a minutely everted rim and a central omphalos. The omphalos surrounded by a rosette, most likely of a lotus blossom, in a tondo. Egg and dart design outside of the tondo. All decoration done in repousse.
With a small piece of edge missing otherwise in excellent condition. Natural patina present.
