Minted in Antioch as Theopolis; Year 8 (589-590 A.D.)

Obverse: Bust of Maurice Tiberius frontal facing wearing consular robes and crown surmounted by trefoil device. Holding mappa in his right hand, a sceptre surmounted by an eagle in his left. DM TIV CONSTAN PP AVI.

Reverse: Large m in center, cross above, ANNo to left, regional year to right, THEUP’ in exergue.

In very fine condition. Natural patina present. Found in Jerusalem.
