Valens as Eastern Roman Emperor (c. 364-378 A.D.)

Antioch Mint; February 364-August 367 A.D.

Obverse: A pearl diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Valens facing right. DN VALENS PER F AVG.

Reverse: The emperor standing facing, head turned right towards Victory on a globe held in his right hand. A labarum held in his left. ANTG with dot in exergue. RESTITVTOR REIPVBLICAE.

Scalloped edges on both side of coin. In excellent condition.
