AN EARLY ISLAMIC MOLD-BLOWN GLASS BOTTLE

Made entirely from an opaque black glass this vessel consists of an ovoid body with vertical ribs, a cylindrical neck and a flaring rim. Trailing has been applied in a waving pattern around the joint between the body and the neck.
In excellent and original condition with natural iridescence present.
