c. 1st-2nd Century CE

This simple yet elegant vessel consists primarily of a piriform body, a cylindrical neck and a folded rim. The neck is constricted where it attaches to the body. The body itself is also constricted in the middle to create a waist. These additions provided not only visual interest but also helped to slow the flow of the precious liquid contained within.

In excellent condition with natural iridescence present.

7cm (2.75 inches) high

Worldwide Shipping and Certificate of Authenticity Included in Price.

Export Approval from the Israel Antiquities Authority.
