c. 2nd-3rd Century CE

This solid cast bronze figure stands with his weight on his left foot. A quiver is slung over his left shoulder and he holds a money bag in his right hand. This figure is most likely a depiction of Mercury (Greek Hermes) and a caduceus would have been held in the, now missing, right hand of the deity.

In very fine condition. Missing right forearm but otherwise intact with natural gray-green patina throughout. Slight flaking of patina on feet.

7.62 cm high (3 inches)

Certificate of Authenticity Included.

Ships from our USA location.
