Middle Bronze Age IIB-C; 1730-1550 BCE

This early lamp shows the beginnings of the development toward the more common lamp of the later Bronze Age. This example sits on a round base with a slight pinch of the frontal rim to form a wick hole. It is decorated with a red burnished slip.

In excellent condition with natural encrustation still present.
