| A superb, large and lavishly decorated pear-shaped vessel, fully enameled in high-quality scrolling floral motifs against a moss green ground. The beautiful designs on all the enameled surfaces are embellished with raised silver droplets. It sports "C" form handles on each side of the body, each enameled en suite. The lift-off lid, also enameled en suite, is topped with a knob set with an ivory disk. Measuring 7" (17.75 cm) across the handles and 5 1/2" (14 cm) in height, it is extremely heavy, weighing approximately 19 oz (539 grams). Apparently unmarked, but guaranteed authentic and of the period. | ||
