| A smaller Russian silver and shaded enamel cigarette case (possibly a ladies cigarette or card case) by Moscow manufacturer Nikolai Zverev. Made in Moscow between 1908-1917 in 84 standard silver, the exterior is decorated in shaded enamel floral patterns against a stippled gilt ground; each half is marked in the field and bordered with a row of turquoise pellets. The hinge is in excellent condition and is also spring-loaded. Measuring 3" (7.6 cm) by 2 3/8" (6 cm), the interior is strongly gilded and the case weighs 3.6 oz (101 grams).
