| Wonderful Russian silver & shaded enamel kovsh decorated in highly stylized art nouveau floral patterns in a somewhat unusual palette. Of hemispherical form, the prow of the kovsh is emblazoned with an open reserve for inscription, the interior and ring foot gilded. The hooked handle is enameled en suite and bordered by a row of purple pellets. Marked on the base in full for Ivan Khlebnikov under the imperial warrant, 88 standard silver and manufacture in Moscow between 1908-1917, the piece weighs 4 1/4" oz (120 grams) and measures 4 1/4" (10.8 cm) in length and is in excellent condition. | ||
