| Russian silver and shaded enamel kovsh by renowned maker Maria Semenova. Of traditional form, the exterior of the body is enameled in high-quality shaded floral designs against a gilt stippled ground; the interior is gilded and the handle, enameled en suite and bordered with turquoise pellets. Measuring 3 5/8" (9.2 cm) in length and 2 3/16" (5.6 cm) across and weighs 2.58 oz (73 grams), it is clearly marked for Maria Semenova and manufacture in Moscow between 1896-1907 in 84 standard silver. | ||
