| A superb Russian silver and shaded enamel teaglass holder by Ovchinnikov, Moscow 1908-1917 in 84 standard silver. The exterior and handle of the piece are decorated in exceptional art nouveau style shaded floral motifs in pastel hues; the spreading ring foot of the podstakannik is enameled en suite. In perfect original condition, the piece is clearly hallmarked under the base for Ovchinnikov under the Imperial Warrant. Measuring approximately 3 9/16” tall and 4 ¾” across the handle, the piece weighs 8.42 oz (239 g). | ||
