| Unusual Russian silver & shaded enamel open salt by Feodor Ruckert. Of bombé form with an inverted lip, the salt is flooded with exceptional quality floral enamel patterns against blue and varied green fields, separated with white “swags” of pellets. Measuring 2 3/16” (5.6 cm) and weighing 1.9 oz (54 grams) the base shows a stylized floral design in blue and green hues. Clearly marked on the base for FR, 88 standard silver and Moscow manufacture between 1908-17. The interior lightly gilded, the underneath of the inverted lip is enameled in interlocking blue and green triangles; the piece is in excellent condition. | ||
