| Very unusual set of four blotter corners by Antip Kuzmichev, Moscow pre-1896 in 88 standard silver. Of triangular section with scalloped edge, each piece weighs in at 2.4 oz (or 68 grams). Each top surface is intricately enameled with a pair of birds against a gilded stippled ground, each vertical section with alternating green and blue teardrops and each back surface finished in gilded silver with openwork scrolling floral designs and highlighted with brite-work. The measurements of each triangle is 3 5/16" by 3 5/16" by 4 11/16" (or 8.4 cm by 8.4 cm by 11.9 cm) and is 1/4" (or 64 mm) tall. An interesting set in excellent condition | ||
