| A Russian silver and shaded enamel teaglass holder, entirely engulfed in a diverse variety of meticulously detailed floral and geometric designs. This wonderful piece is further embellished with a reticulated rim and shaped, openwork handle. Manufactured in Moscow by Konstantin Skvortsov between 1908 – 1917 in 84 standard silver, it weighs 7.3 oz (207 grams). It is gilded on all un-enameled surfaces and is fully marked under the base. The cylindrical section measures 2 5/8” (6.7 cm) across and sits upon a spreading enameled ring foot. From the base to the top of the shaped lip, it measures 3 3/16” (8.1 cm) tall, measuring 4 3/8” (11.1 cm) to the top of the handle. Intricate and eclectic, this is typical of Skvortsov’s style and high quality execution. | ||
