Measurements: WEIGHT: 8.5 grams of 14kt gold - LENGTH: 3 1/2" - WIDTH: 3/8" - HEIGHT OF CURVATURE: 1"
I am dating this unusual brooch to the late 1800's as that is when the type of locking catch was used.
No damages or repairs.
Calling this brooch a scarf or corsage pin is my best guess as I have never seen another of this design, but the central sharp pin under the dome would lend itself to either use.

I refer to this as an heirloom piece because it is not only vintage c.1900, but someone who valued this antique necklace went to a great deal of trouble to attach the matching cameo with 14kt wire.
The two colors of gold tone metal are rose and greenish yellow - appropriate for a design comprised of many leaves - possibly ivy leaves surro...

To give flowers, is always a lovely gesture. But after a week, the flowers do fade and die. Not so with this hand carved bouquet of daisies set within a 14 karat gold mounting.
