Measurements: LENGTH: 3 3/8" x 1/2" at the greatest WIDTH - tapering top and bottom
Beautiful, three dimensional construction. Careful craftsmanship and finishing. No damages or repairs.
Sparkling bright kelly green stones, mixed with multi colored faux agates.

“Miracle” is the trade name of A. Hill & Company LTD...

Apollo Studios of New York was a division of Bernard Rice's & Sons and items marked with the Apollo stamp were made from 1909-1922. These pieces are usually marked only with Apollo, sometimes with Apollo Studios NY or Apollo Ovington followed by some mold (style) numbers. In 1872, the Apollo Silver Co. merged with the bankrupt Redfield & Rice Co, forming the Bernard Rice's Sons. Bernard Rice's & Sons went out of business in 1958...
Measurements: 2 1/4" x 2 5/8" wide x 7/8" depth - weight: 1 oz.
This fierce jungle cat is one of the best modernist costume designs I've seen in a good while: very three dimensional form with strong detail - a true statement piece. Yet, at one ounce, the brooch is easy to wear without damaging most fabrics.
The construction is two part: flat back soldered to the repousse top.
I believe that the metal is chromed brass...
Measurements: 3 3/4" x 1" x 1/4" depth
Very three dimensional figural fish fur clip - signed SILSON.
In fine condition with tight clip closure.
Vermeil highlights over heavy silver plate...
Measurements: This is a closed bangle style with a 1 1/4" diameter mirror watch face. Interior bangle circumference: 6 1/4" which cannot be made larger: for a SLIM WRIST.
This is one of the first iconic designs by well known Jensen designer: Vivianna Torun (1927-2004): dated 1962
The metal is chrome; the face has a bright mirror finish.
Photographed unpolished (as are all of my pieces of vintage jewelry) and showing very minor surface abrasion consistent with age...
Measurements: BROOCH: 2 1/4" long x 1/8" wide - SHIRT STUDS: four @ 3/8" diameter each.
This group is truly VERY MICRO mosaic-almost requiring magnification to see the beautifully fashioned flowers.
I consider this a woman's dress set as the brooch would be at the neck of a high collar while the studs held the shirt front as buttons.
No damages or repairs. Photographed with the brass metal unpolished.
Most likely Edwardian vintage, though possibly older.
Usually Italian origin...
Measurements: 2 7/8" long x 1" wide
Unique "off center" design with three dimensional floral element.
Originally screw back earrings, they were converted to pierced at some point in their history.
The flowers are centered with very sparkly kelly green crystals. The top stones are the same color, but unfaceted.
The metal of the earrings is well patinated brass.
Great movement and sway.
No damages or repairs except for the clip conversion.
Runway quality c. 1940's.
Measurements: 1 7/8" square on a 17 1/2" braided cord tipped with two 10mm silver beads
This is a beautifully crafted Mid Century design bolo tie of mixed metals (one of which is silver) with an overall acid patina added.
Estate purchase dating to the 1960's.
Suitable for a man or woman.
Measurements: 3/4" DIAMETER not including the hanger - HANGER mechanism adds 1/4" height - THICKNESS of the double sided intaglio: 3/8"
This very detailed and finely carved intaglio shows the head and, I believe, riding crop of an Edwardian jockey - a most unusual subject for an intaglio watch fob.
The fob has two sides: one of carnelian and one of onyx - both carved.
The metal surround is gold filled which will polish beautifully.
The hanger mechanism is also unusual: soldered indi...
Measurements: 1" x 1 1/4" x 1/4" WEIGHT: 8.1 grams
This locket is a good sized heart with a tight hinged closure and a simple design of machine engraving typical of Edwardian jewelry. While the locket is gold filled, the design also holds a small 2mm square of 14kt white gold centered by a small diamond (tested as such and guaranteed).
The gold is in good condition except for a bit of wear on the back near the hinge...
Measurements: Brooch with surrounding gold filled filigree frame: 1 7/8" x 1 5/8" PORCELAIN ONLY: 1 3/8" X 1 5/8"
The gold filled filigree framework appears to have originally been silver plated. The back of the brooch retains the silver; the front shows silver only in areas not smoothed by wear.
Under magnification, the dot matrix pattern of a lithograph shows throughout the figure...
24" total length of chain; 4 1/2" total length of pendant/discs
Beautiful enamel colors ranging from lime green to forest green; worked in a semi-cloisonne style with copper wire.
The chain is silver over copper and worn in places.
No damages or repairs.
Outstanding "mod" design from the 1960's.
